Each week, the fall season brings exciting performances from teams and athletes across the Front Range. Here are some of the top teams and players who made a significant impact during Week 7.

Top Teams of the Week

Holy Family Football: The Tigers delivered a stunning upset by defeating Mead, ending their unbeaten streak with a 27-21 victory. Quarterback Kaden Hopkin played a crucial role, throwing two touchdowns in the final three minutes — one for 78 yards and another for 38 yards — to secure the win.

Lyons Softball: The Lions continued their strong performance by extending their winning streak to four games. They defeated Valley and Strasburg, moving up to No. 7 in Class 3A with a 15-5 record.

Peak to Peak Boys Tennis: The third-seeded Pumas advanced to the Class 4A state semifinals after beating No. 14 Littleton 7-0 and No. 11 Grand Junction 5-2. Their consistent play has positioned them as a strong contender in the tournament.

Boulder Cross Country: Both the boys and girls teams showcased impressive performances at the Pat Patten Invitational. The boys team won the event, with six runners placing in the top 10, led by Lucas Wik in third place. The girls team took second, with Calia Vaughn also placing third.

Legacy Volleyball: The Lightning improved their record to 12-3 following wins over Centaurus, Mead, and Niwot. They have now won eight consecutive matches, showing great consistency on the court.

Monarch Volleyball: The Coyotes continued their success with clean sweeps against Fairview and Broomfield, moving to an 8-2 record this season.

Holy Family Softball: The Tigers extended their winning streak to nine games with victories over Fairview and Longmont. They now hold a 17-3 overall record.

Mead Cross Country: The Mavericks placed second in both the girls and boys races at their own Mead Stampede, finishing behind Golden. Their strong performances highlight their competitive spirit.

Monarch Flag Football: The Coyotes had a dominant week, defeating George Washington, Bruce Randolph, and Regis Groff with scores of 23-6, 52-0, and 38-0 respectively. They now sit at 7-5 on the season.

Fairview Boys Tennis: The Knights advanced in the 5A team state tournament by defeating Ralston Valley 5-2. Their singles players, including Luke Treleaven, Adhrit Sundaresan, and Itay Kazatcker, played key roles in the win.

Ethan Toth, Boulder Football: As a junior quarterback, Toth led his team to its first win in almost a year, throwing for 258 yards and two touchdowns.
